Northampton

The USS Northampton (CL/CA-26) was a Northampton class cruiser of the US navy. At first she was classified as a light cruiser but later reclassified as a heavy cruiser. She served in the second world war where she was sunk during the Battle of Tassafaronga on 1 December 1942.
